Looking for something different to snack this weekend? I’m always up for trying new things, but this Cheesy Beerdip with Soft Pretzels has been one of my favourites for years!
A few years back I was looking for “American Snacks” for my birthday, since I usually do themed birthdays, and I came across this delicious sounding beer-dip with cheese. I combined it with homemade soft pretzels and it was a hit!
The Cheesy beer-dip is pretty easy to make, it contains cream-cheese, sour-cream, cheddar, beer and Ranch Dressing mix. You just mix it, and let it sit in the fridge for a while before eating it so it gets a bit thicker. So make it in the morning or even the night before and you’re good to go. If you keep it in an airtight container you can store it in the fridge for up to a week, so that’s a big plus!
Ranch Dressing Mix
If you have never used Ranch dressing mix before, you can get it pre-mixed in most supermarkets. But I usually mix it myself and make a bigger amount so I can save some for future recipes.
Soft Pretzel Bites
If you’ve never made pretzels before it might sound like it’s something very hard to do. But it’s actually one of the most easy things to make! The only difference between (pre-made) pizza-dough and pretzels is a quick boil in water with baking soda!
And there you have it: Cheesy beerdip with soft pretzels! A delicious homemade snack for movie-night. But if you don’t feel like baking soft pretzels you can also eat the dip with all kinds of chips, knock yourself out and enjoy!
